November 18, 2019 - VOSS Automotive GmbH recently opened a new plant in Bulgaria.

At the festive ceremony at the plant site in the Bahovitsa Industrial Park, Lovech Region, the Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Tomislav Donchev, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economics, Vladimir Tudzharov, emphasized the importance of the investment for the region and the country. They awarded VOSS Automotive the “Class A Investment Certificate”.

For the VOSS Group and VOSS Automotive, Dr. Regine Hagen-Eck, Chairwoman of the Advisory Board, Dr. Thomas Röthig, CEO, and Roland Weiß, Managing Director of VOSS Bulgaria, emphasized the significance of the new location in the corporate strategy. They thanked the newly recruited VOSS employees and the proven teams from Wipperfürth and Poland for their outstanding commitment in setting up production. Currently, 130 highly qualified employees have already taken up their work in production and in supporting areas. By the end of 2020 there will be up to 750 skilled workers.

After cutting the ribbon together, the guests visited the informative exhibition specially set up for the occasion and the ongoing series production of line systems for SCR and thermal management applications.

With the opening of the new plant in Bulgaria, VOSS Automotive has successfully mastered another important strategic milestone.
